Yamila Rosales is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful personal growth. Yamila earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida National University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Barry University.
Yamila has experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, behavioral challenges, life transitions, and family-related stressors. Utilizing a person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and cognitive behavioral approach, Yamila creates a supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment tailored to each client’s unique needs.

As a bilingual therapist fluent in both English and Spanish, Yamila is passionate about providing compassionate, culturally responsive care. Yamila believes in helping clients recognize their strengths, build resilience, develop effective coping skills, and gain greater self-awareness as they work toward their personal goals.
