Sofia Ricardo is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. Prior to beginning clinical work as a therapist, Sofia spent several years working closely with children and families in community and educational settings, helping them navigate life transitions, family conflict, and access supportive resources.

 

Sofia’s approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. Believing that every person has unique strengths, Sofia strives to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

 

Passionate about helping clients increase emotional awareness, strengthen resilience, and navigate difficult experiences with confidence, Sofia works alongside individuals and families to support meaningful personal growth. Whether seeking support for oneself, a child, or a family, clients can expect a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic experience.
